Blings 4 Blessings is the brainchild of Janet Morris- Schoch who is a 4th generation Las Vegas, Nevadan. she has called Las Vegas home for 60 years. Her grandfather, Robert Griffith & great grandfather E.W Griffith, were one of the prominent pioneer family’s in Las Vegas & settled in Las Vegas in 1905. Janet’s mother Mary Jane Griffith, who the gorgeous (Mary Jane Falls) in Mount Charleston are named after, her daughter, Amber Jayne & herself were all born here as well.
Janet was the prior owner/CEO of Fiber Optics of Nevada. Creating custom signs for politicians & worked with hotels such as the Mirage. She also designed fiber optics in the stairs of Kirk Kirkorians gorgeous custom home, who was the owner of the MGM Hotel at the time. Janet’s first creation was a fiber optic ceiling in her family’s famous local bar (Sonny’s Saloon & Casino) where she also designed two of the first fiber optic slot machines in Nevada, while obtained her gaming & liquor license @ the age of 21.
Janet (aka) Jan Jan, became fascinated with Swarovski rhinestones when her daughter Amber Jayne became a competitive figure skater at the age of 5. Amber’s grandfather (Sonny Morris) would spare no expense in making sure she always had beautiful costumes filled with gorgeous rhinestones for all her competitions.
Janet is currently a gold card member of the Swarovski Crystal Society & each custom creation is “one-of-a-kind”. Janet is also now a wholesaler to sell LED, Swarovski, fiber optic & glow supplies worldwide. Her company will be catering to all events big & small, including fundraising & charity events, holidays, weddings, festivals & concerts.
